Pleasing hospitality and great service are the highlights of Cicada. The food is awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed the safaris both by jeep and boat. The naturalists on the safari were very knowledgeable.

Good accommodation, simple yet complete. One of the things to appreciate at Cicada would be the tasty and hygienic food; the breakfast menu is a good mix and well laid out. Cicada: Kabini is blessed with nature's beauty, blanketed by thick forests of Bandipur and Nagarahole. Would like to see more indoor activities and games, especially on a rainy day when outdoor activities are impossible.

It was a lovely place! Everything was excellent. The food was superb. The rooms were neat and clean. It was lovely to get up in the morning to the sound of the birds instead of the city traffic. Overall the entire resort was great and kept clean. The only down fall was the swimming pool which should be maintained better

Beautifully designed property. Service is superb - friendly without being overpowering. We came for a team building trip (29 of us) and the atmosphere was ideal for some great sessions. The safari guides were knowledgeable and water sports was good fun. Will definitely visit again. Please make the room pillows smaller

When our company ACS decided on a management outing, the first place that came to our mind was Cicada Resort, sprawling over 20 acres on the banks of the Kabini reservoir. The resort is clean, tidy and well maintained with very good service and excellent food. The highlight of our visit were the boat and jeep safaris organized by the resort. The jeep safari is the best way to see nature at close range. The boat safari is also very thrilling as it takes you close to various animals like the elephant, bison, deer, crocodiles, monkeys, mongoose that come to the reservoir to drink and play in the water, not to forget the amazing birdlife of peacocks, kingfishers, storks, and cranes. The dedicated resort staff made this weekend a very memorable one. Our special thanks to Mr. Arun for being with us all the time ensuring our weekend was lively and full of fun

It turned out be a fantastic holiday. One word to describe it, Awesome!!! Have to say the set-up was far more impressive than I expected. Everyone that came with us were very happy with the place, its scenic settings, quality of the rooms, the friendly demeanor of the staff etc. The boat rides & the safari into the jungle was a hit amongst the kids & the adults alike. The naturalists' were very good too. Food we felt was something that potentially needed improvement. Days that they had the barbeque, some of the food was excellent. Coordinating with the servicing staff to get the rooms cleaned/serviced without the intercom in the room was a bit of a challenge. Overall everyone one of us came away with a feel-good factor. It's a place we would certainly re-visit.
